WAREHOUSE CLOTHING SORTER (Full Time, Weekdays Only)

Location: Liverpool, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 03:30 PM)

Payrate: $16.00 per hour

Looking for a rewarding job where you can contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment? The Rescue Mission is hiring full-time Warehouse Clothing Sorters to help process and organize donated items. In this role, you’ll directly support our mission of ending homelessness and hunger by ensuring that donated clothing and goods are ready for sale and redistribution. 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse Clothing Sorter, you’ll be responsible for:

• Sorting, hanging, and ticketing donated clothing.
• Organizing and preparing smaller donated items such as ties, scarves, hats, gloves, and linens.
• Managing the salvage, recycling, and waste of non-sellable items.
• Contributing to efficient warehouse operations by ensuring all merchandise is processed and ready for delivery.
• Assisting with inventory management and keeping work areas clean and organized.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking candidates who: 

• Have an interest in working with clothing and enjoy working with donated goods.
• Are eager to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks.
• Are comfortable working in a fast-past environment and can stand for extended periods (8-hour shifts).
• Have a strong work ethic and can lift up to 30lbs.
• Are passionate about the Rescue Mission’s goals & values and are excited to make a positive impact in the community.
• Is at least 18 years of age.
• is willing to carry out cleaning duties when needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a production warehouse or retail clothing setting preferred.
