We are currently hiring a Server to join our team part-time.
At Hola Arepa, we try to transport guests during their stay to a place that is an oasis from their everyday life. After all, vacation is just a state of mind! We are looking for a Server who can help us keep that vibe going. Hola Arepa has been a staple in the Minneapolis restaurant scene for 10 years now, and we’re looking for team members who are committed to excellence and to providing the warm and welcoming hospitality of our brand.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about hospitality, food and cocktails, and is energetic, punctual, dependable, positive, and comfortable with fast-paced food service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years experience in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Must be able to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time

- $15.57 an hour / plus tips
- Saturdays and Sundays are a must

ABOUT US:
At Hola Arepa, we serve our take on Latin American food and craft cocktails that are delicious, inventive, affordable, and always made from scratch. We specialize in Venezuelan-style arepas and street food from Latin America. The food, drinks & design at Hola Arepa are all made to evoke nostalgia from our travels. We want to recreate the ambience of bustling Latin cafes and bars in tropical places, where the vibe is friendly and lively, and the space is worn in and well-loved. We hope to give our guests an experience unlike any other they can get in Minneapolis and make it a special place for them.
The menu is created and crafted by Chef-Owner Christina Nguyen, who is a 2024 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef Midwest. The food at Hola Arepa is best described as Latin American food, pulling inspiration from South & Central American countries, different regions of Mexico, and sometimes Spain. Our cocktails are vacation drinks made with Latin American ingredients & spirits. Hola Arepa’s food and cocktail program have received numerous national and local awards and press over the years.
