Job Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an tech-savvy IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join their team in Cedar Hill, Texas. As the IT Help Desk Support Specialist you will be the go-to resource for technical support. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting a wide range of hardware software, and network issues while helping all the employees stay connected, productive, and supported.
What You'll Be Doing:
Act as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests via phone, email, and remote access tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows systems, Office applications, network connectivity, and hardware.
Set up and configure new user equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Maintain up-to-date IT documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base resources.
Provide user training on commonly used applications and tools as needed.
Monitor and manage the IT ticketing system, ensuring prompt issue resolution and follow-up.
Assist the IT Director with system maintenance and special projects.
Identify recurring issues and trends to support improvements in IT processes and long-term strategies.
Experience You Bring:
At least 2 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support position
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and fundamental networking concepts
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Well-organized, reliable, and capable of working independently
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
