Job Description

****SPECIALTY COFFEE SHOP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!****

Looking to hire a specialty coffee experienced Lead Barista to help manager oversee the day-to-day operations including coffee training while motivating staff to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Organizing and managing daily operations of the cafe
Recruiting, training, and supervising staff
Ensuring health and safety protocols
Maintaining updated records of all staff and cafe-related documents
Help prepare weekly work schedule for cafe
Help conduct store meetings
Help conduct staff performance reviews
Coordinating with vendors and ordering supplies as needed
Helping to develop seasonal items
Scheduling routined maintenance checks for all areas of the cafe
Organizing community driven events
Serving the staff, customers, and community
Building genuine relationships

Qualifications

Having the heart to serve
Proven leadership skills in the specialty coffee industry
Hands-on experience with a professional coffee machine
Flexible schedule and availability to work 40 hour weeks
Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
Good math skills
Ability to learn and adapt
Effective communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
