Store Background Hoffman Drug, situated in Aurora, Colorado, to the east of Colorado Springs and Denver, was established in 1926. Over the past 99 years, it has been under the management of four different owners. Job Goals: We are seeking an ideal candidate with prior supervisory experience in a pharmacy for the position of Pharmacist Manager. While previous management experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role entails around 70 hours of in-store work per two-week pay period, along with approximately 10 hours of remote work on management responsibilities. The key responsibilities include:

• Provide consultation services to patients on the proper use of medications and educate them on potential drug interactions. Administer preventive healthcare measures like immunizations, ensuring oversight of these services.
• Supervise the accurate compounding and dispensing of prescribed medications while adhering to regulatory standards and company protocols.
• Assist in streamlining pharmacy operations, identifying opportunities to enhance financial performance, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Support an improved customer experience through prioritizing healthcare services such as consultations, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and administering wellness services like immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness.
• Supervise pharmacy intern interactions effectively.
• Foster staff relations by encouraging teamwork, setting expectations, monitoring progress, and addressing conflicts promptly.
• Stay informed about advancements in retail and pharmacy management practices to boost team productivity and enhance customer relations.
• Stay up-to-date on pharmacy-related information technology to aid both staff and customers for a positive experience.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve customer concerns and avoid payment rejections, including following up with insurance companies and medical providers promptly.
• Collaborate with management to create and execute strategies to enhance pharmacy profitability.
• Assist in establishing specific pharmacy goals, standards, and objectives, aligning with the company's vision.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, third-party, and contractual regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Qualifications:

• To be considered for the Pharmacist Manager position in Aurora, CO, US, a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D is required.
• The candidate must hold an active pharmacy license in the state of practice, with all licenses held in good standing.
• Certification as an Immunizer is necessary for this role.
• While 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
