Our client is seeking a Staff or Sr. Staff Accountant who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is eager to own key accounting functions from journal entries to audit prep. This position is open due to expansion. This is an opportunity to expand your skills in a dynamic company that values accuracy, initiative, and collaboration.

Highlighted Duties: 

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Reconcile fixed asset accounts monthly.
• Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger.
• Coordinate with AP Clerk on coding, cutoffs, and discrepancies.
• Monitor AR aging and support collections.
• Apply customer payments and credit memos.
• Reconcile AR balances and resolve issues.
• Track wire transfers and cash disbursements.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records.
• Support internal control and process improvements.

Highlighted Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Must have experience in manufacturing or logistics (inventory-driven environment).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Positive, adaptable, and comfortable in a roll-up-your-sleeves culture.
