Join the world's leading global security company! + **Payrate** **:** **$2** **1** **.** **63** per hour. + **Location** **:** Los Angeles County, California + Excellent benefits and career growth opportunities. + We offer attractive payrolloptions like daily or weekly pay. + Paid training and uniforms provided. + Must have 1 year security experience within the last 3 years. + Must have a clean background and driving record As an **Una** **rmed** **Security Officer** you will serve and safeguard clients in a Government Building. **R** **ESPONSIBILITIES** **/DUTIES** **:** + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, enforce site-specific policies, and ifappropriateemergency response. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site. + Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner. + Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties. + Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner. + Ability to: + Work in various environments such as cold or hot weather, rain or snow + Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds + Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift + Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time **MINIMUM REQUIREMETNS** **:** + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + Possess a **current** Guard Card and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations that may be required prior to employment. + As a condition of employment the candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
