Job Description

Gibbs Oil Company is excited to announce an opening for Manager. This role is designed for driven individuals looking to advance their careers in retail management and gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Learning all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, customer service, staffing, and sales strategies. You will assist current managers in daily functions, participate in training sessions, and receive mentorship to prepare for a future managerial position.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or any leadership role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills related to retail management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
