Job Description

We are seeking to hire a spirited and enthusiastic Soccer Coach! (No previous soccer experience necessary.)

The successful candidate will guide our children through engaging and educational activities while prioritizing their safety. Our ideal applicant has experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader) and genuinely enjoys interacting with them. This role is perfect for individuals interested in early childhood education or child development. New Coaches can take on 5 to 25 classes per week, earning between $18 and $35 per hour.

• Our Coaches provide individual attention to ensure every child succeeds.
• They adopt a non-competitive approach to create a fun, stress-free environment in classes.
• Positive reinforcement is used by our Coaches to motivate children to improve and celebrate their achievements.
• Lastly, our Coaches have a great time. They are receptive to new ideas and understand that coaching is an ongoing adventure. All Coaches welcome feedback and aim for continuous improvement by participating in regular training sessions and adhering to the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.

Location: Classes take place at schools, daycares, preschools, parks, and recreational centers throughout NOVA. Depending on the coach's primary residence, they may need to travel up to an hour to reach a class location.

Requirements

• High school diploma with some college (preferred)
• You must hold a valid driver's license, and a reliable personal transportation.
• The ideal candidate would be available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons.
• Being physically active, punctual, and organized is part of life

• Ability to work with kids ranging from 18 months to 15 years old
• Demonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is looking
