The Washington Waldorf School, located in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking a trained pedagogical Eurythmist to teach Eurythmy to students in the Middle School and High School. This is a 50% salaried position beginning January 20, 2025. A piano accompanist is available for all classes. Additional expectations for this position include attending department meetings.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Teaching approximately 8 Eurythmy classes per week.
· Grading and Report Writing.
· Meeting with parents as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree
· Minimum 1 year of teaching Eurythmy to students in the middle school age group.
· Ability to model a calm demeanor and work in a school community with flexibility and patience.
· Familiarity or strong interest in Waldorf education.
We seek a Eurythmist who is enthusiastic, creative, and has the ability to work well with colleagues, administration and parents.
This part time salaried position offers prorated Personal Time Off, as well as prorated Sick and Safe Leave. Compensation range is $23,000-30,000 depending on experience.
