Measurements

A pyranometer measures the solar radiation received by a plane surface from a 180 ° field of view angle.
This quantity, expressed in W/m², is called “hemispherical” solar radiation.
The solar radiation spectrum extends roughly from 285 to 3000 x 10⁻⁹ m.
Illuminance, measured in 'lux' is the total luminous flux incident on a surface, per unit area.
It is a measure of how much the incident light illuminates the surface, wavelength-weighted
by the luminosity function to correlate with human brightness perception.
Flux, measured in volt meters, is the rate of flow of energy.
Flux is positive if it is exiting from the surface and negative when it is entering the surface.
Radiance, measured in milliwatts, is the unit that conveys the amount of
radiant flux emitted, transmitted, or reflected by a surface.
The radiance unit is determined as the unit power per solid angle per unit projected area.
Atmospheric pressure, measured in mbar, also known as barometric pressure,
is the pressure within the atmosphere of Earth.
The standard atmosphere (symbol: atm) is a unit of pressure defined as 1.01325 bar.
It is sometimes used as a reference pressure or standard pressure.
It is approximately equal to Earth's atmospheric pressure at sea level.
